DISCLAIMER: I had said that they were 153 different nationalities at the time of Jesus. I was quoting Saint Jerome but made a mistake. It was thought at the time of Jesus there were 153 species of fish on the earth not different nationalities. Hence the disciples caught 153 fish, signifying that people of every class and time would be saved through the gospel!
